I am always incredibly thankful and grateful to the people who visit my site, read my posts, comment, subscribe, etc. I know that I would not be where I am today, as a blogger, without you all!

Exactly one year ago today, I ran a Kinderpack giveaway (one of my favorite baby/toddler products) to thank you, my readers and followers.

Well, my love for the Kinderpack carrier is still going strong. My husband regularly and comfortably wears Max at 3 1/2 years old! For our family, a Kinderpack carrier is one of our must-haves – you can read more about my love for them here.

Last year, I was celebrating the fact that I had reached 300 followers on Facebook. I guess this year, I’m celebrating reaching 899. HA! If only I had 1 more at the time of this posting…

Anyway, as a way to express my appreciation, I will be giving away another brand new Kinderpack – winner’s choice! (Retail prices range from $169-$184 + $12 S&H.) And, to be clear, this giveaway is being sponsored by me and is in no way affiliated with Kindercarry.

The giveaway will run until August 11th, 2017, 11:59PM EST.

A few things to note:

Back when I was pregnant with Alexa, I purchased tickets to attend this show. Two years later, I am getting paid, as a blogger, to attend the event! 🙂

The 2017 New York Baby Show, on May 20 & 21 from 10:00AM-4:00PM at Pier 94, is the biggest baby expo for new and expectant parents in the country. It is now in its seventh year, featuring top baby and maternity brands, innovative products, great speakers and seminars, and giveaways.

I had a lot of fun attending as an expectant parent. And for all of you preggers, the event is well-ventilated and air-conditioned! (Probably the single most important thing to note when venturing outside in May.)

Anyway, I loved being able to see so many different baby products and brands – especially from lesser known but equally amazing companies. There’s also a million raffles you can sign up for. I didn’t win anything but there were some really great prizes.

Normal ticket price is $30 per family (for 2 adults and up to 4 children), and $20 per individual.

I am proud to say that I am turning my kids into total book nerds. Literally the first and only word that Alexa can say is “buh” when she picks up a book and throws it at us. My husband and I read multiple books to them daily and it is our favorite way to unwind as a family for the night. Reading to them also guarantees a snuggle from Max so I might have ulterior motives as well.

That’s why when I found out about Bookroo, I had to try it out because this service is right up our alley!

What it is:

Bookroo is a subscription-based book service that sends a box every month filled with either three board books (for children ranging from ages 0-2.5 years old) or two hardcover picture books (geared towards children ranging from ~2.5-6 years old.)

Bookroo prides itself on finding “hidden gems” as opposed to sending classics. However, if you happen to own the book that is sent, all you have to do is take a picture of you gifting the book to someone else and Bookroo will give you $5 off your next box.

I chose the hardcover option and received the October box. As you will see, it is Halloween-themed!
